Australian Personnel Solutions wants to encourage and reward those who choose to make a career out of being a "Professional Casual". We have developed the "Flying Squad" which is essentially a full time position with APS. Our Flying Squad is our elite crew of Professional Casuals.

Flying Squad members are people who enjoy the casual work force but also want the security of guaranteed work every week. As a Flying Squad member you receive priority placements at clients and if on a given day we have no work available - you still get paid.

We encourage our Flying Squad members to become multi-skilled through training programs provided by APS and varied positions throughout metropolitan Melbourne. You are also provided with a uniform and are able to become a member of the Australian Personnel Solutions Social Club and participate in social functions especially organised for the Flying Squad.

The benefits for you are numerous. A few already mentioned are guaranteed hours, varied positions, training and multi-skilling. The thing that is most beneficial to you is that you do not lose the benefits that encouraged you to become a permanent casual in the first place, you still get paid casual rates and you can still choose to take time off when it suits.
